Brisbane Social Night - 7 February 2009

The Brisbane Social Evening was held on Saturday 7 February 2009 at the Progress Hall in Springwood, which is the South side of Brisbane City. The event was attended by 17 Families including ex-staff of P&T/FPTL/TFL/Connect Fiji/Post Fiji/Vodafone Fiji Ltd. The Formal function began with a speeches by Tiwa Nair, and Mr Ambika Prasad. This was followed by some live music from Bhim Singh and on Tabla was Rajen Prasad (Dass). We then went around the room when everyone has the chance to introduce themselves to each other. The evening continued with dinner, drinks, and then the momentum picked by when Brisbane's favorite RJ Dinesh went on the stage and performed a few karaoke numbers. And the usual and obvious happened after people consumed a bit of Vitamin B (VB), the dance floor was rocked by everyone, from young to the very young. And went on until we finally had to wrap up the evening.
