During 1985 and '86 the Exchange Construction crew spent a considerable amount of time in the burning West, with the dismantling of parts of the old Lautoka exchange and the installation of the new AXE exchange. Out with the old, in with the new! Of course RD Sharma (back row center) would take advantage of this, enlisting a number of the 'wrecking crew' lads for a one-day tournament in Ba. This included Inosi Nabogibogi (standing far right), Nimilote Ratudina (not pictured. He may have been behind the camera), Joji Kakaroko (goal keeper) and myself (front far right). |
