It has been a year since we launched this site. On behalf of the initiators, I wish to thank each one of you for becoming part of this great venture. Over the last 12 months, we have had lots of feedback, both positive and negative, which has been greatly appreciated. It is a milestone, and we have experienced a lot of reconnections with our lost mates. Appears that , we are well on our path to achieving a Global Reunion.

Personally, I would like to acknowledge the efforts of everyone who have been regular visitors and contributors. Good on you all. A very special acknowledgment goes out to Dean for keeping the Beyondfiji.com alive and giving the whole concept a more interactive angle. And of course we have Abdul Azaad and Prem as the leading contributors to all discussions. This in any way does not mean that I am ignoring all the other contributors, but AA, and BroncosLove stand out by far.

Well we have just renewed the existence of this site for another year and due to its popularity, I have pledged to keep this running till “I” exist. Of course the Telecom Spirit should continue, well beyond my lifetime and I would like to encourage contributions from everyone out there to come up with suggestions, as to how this could be realized.

Over the last 12 months we have witnessed the Melbournians and Brisbane siders organize the reunions which has been greatly appreciated. Great on all those hard working teams. The challenge now is “Global Reunion” in Fiji Mid 2010. We have 12 months ahead of us to sort ourselves out. I urge everyone, to get out of your comfort zones , it will be a once in lifetime event, an opportunity to catchup with old mates. After all “Life is too short” ~ Tiwa Nair
